I have been working as a psychotherapist in full-time private
practice since 2011. I specialize in complex trauma (PTSD), more
precisely childhood and relationship trauma. I have published two
books on the subject (please see my website for further details). I
have also taught part-time at Montpellier University and several
private psychoanalytical institutes.
Most of my clients are high-functioning adults (many of whom are
expats) who survived a difficult childhood but are still suffering
from stress, anxiety, psycho-somatic issues and relationship
difficulties. I also work with couples, adolescents and children.
I started my study of psychology at the University of Durham in the
UK, and completed my Master’s degree in psychoanalysis and
post-graduate training in psychotherapy at the University of
Montpellier. In the meantime, I have also followed extensive
training and workshops in the US in NLP (neuro-linguistic
programming), mindfulness,
schema therapy,
eye movement therapy and hypnosis.
In my practice I mainly use psychodynamic (talk) therapy however
because I believe it is the most efficient at treating complex
trauma.
I am a French state-registered psychothérapist with the famous ADELI
number, which means most « Mutuelles » or complementary health
insurances reimburse all or at least part of my fees.
My first language is English, and I lived in Croatia, the
Netherlands, England and Japan before coming to Montpellier in 2006.
My office is conveniently situated in the centre of Montpelier,
between the Comédie and the train station.
Feel free to call me anytime for further info,
