Dilemmas Discussed is a section where people can send in their queries, worries, problems and dilemmas to receive an answer from each of the three therapists. Counselling In France reserves the right not to display certain emails which may be sent in if they are considered:

• inappropriate, illegal, obscene, libellous or racist

• if there are two emails sent in which may elicit similar answers

• if any email describes sexual abuse which has not been reported

• if any email describes injury causing an unreported death

All the therapists are anonymous because they may change from time to time but the answers should always be seen as the personal views of each therapist and are not necessarily to be taken as professional advice or therapeutic intervention. Under no circumstances will the identities of the therapists be revealed and this website does not necessarily endorse the answers or views of any of the therapists.

If any email or emailer discloses sexual abuse of a young person under 16 either currently or in the past by the emailer or others identified in the email, or if extreme physical harm resulting in death is intended or has been carried out, either currently or in the past by the emailer or others identified in the email, Counselling In France is legally obliged to inform the authorities in France or in the United Kingdom, whenever or wherever the offence was committed.
