Currently a doctoral student of counselling psychology, I chose the DC
Psych. program of study at the Metanoia Institute in London because its
integrative approach recognizes that, in the final analysis, it is the
needs of the client that guides the work between client and therapist
rather than any particular psychological modality or philosophy.
I am
committed to working with individuals and couples to create a safe place
in which to explore and address what are often complex and sensitive
issues in perfect confidentiality. In my capacity as a trainee
counselling psychologist I offer reduced rates. I encourage prospective
clients to engage in a preliminary exploratory session at no charge so
they have the unpressured freedom to decide on the benefit to them of
working together going forward.
As a
member of the British Psychological Society I abide by its code of
ethics.
Location: I am affiliated with
Counselling Intervention, do client work under supervision, and see
clients from CI’s office in the 19th arrondissement (usually
on Saturday afternoons, but other times can be negotiated). I prefer to
work in English, but have no problem working in French if a client is
happy to do so and tolerant of the fact that it is not my mother tongue.

Certificate in Counselling Skills (2009), The Metanoia Institute,
London; Currently a trainee in the doctoral program in Counselling
Psychology and Psychotherapy, The Metanoia Institute, London, UK.
Membership: Graduate member of the British Psychological Society and
Division of Counselling Psychology.
