Having practiced in the UK for 10 years, I moved to Charente just under 2 years ago.  Understanding that people living away from their homeland sometimes lack the support of family and understanding friends, which can cause a feeling of isolation and “aloneness”, I can offer an empathetic, practical service.  

My model is Integrative based on a core of the Person Centred approach.  I also use CBT when working with people fighting addictive/compulsive behaviour.  

My belief is that all people can become fully functioning and, together, we can develop effective self empowerment.

COUNSELLING  CONTRACT

1] Confidentiality—All discussions are confidential between You and your Counsellor with the exception of any legal requirements under the “Protection of Children Act.” 

2] You will not be committed to any number of sessions but this will vary according what you feel you need. 

3] A minimum of 24 hrs notice is required for cancellation without charge. 

4] The work that we plan to do  will be agreed during the Initial Assessment Session and will be the subject of a “Therapeutic Contract” which we can renegotiate during our work together. 

5] If you require a report for other professionals, this will be provided at your request and with your written authority at a cost to be agreed.  {Reports are not given to private individuals}
