I have
been a qualified counsellor for the past 12 years.
During
this time I worked with children and their families for NCH a leading
children’s charity in the UK. In practice I worked with adults
and children on a one to one basis as well as in group settings.
In
addition, I offered training and supervision to other agencies
including: Relate (relationship guidance organisation), Devon and
Cornwall Police, Devon Social Services Department and the Devon Council
for Racial Equality.
I ran my
own private counselling practice in the UK for 3 years.
I have
lived in France for the past 2 years, in the village of Paraza Minervois,
10 km north of Narbonne on the Canal du Midi.
My
qualifications include:

I use a
person-centred approach in my counselling as well as drawing on a
Transactional Analysis framework which aims to address both your present
functioning and past experiences.
I abide
wholly by the BACP code of ethics and work within a non-discriminatory
framework.
Sessions
are charged at 35 euro per hour and are in English.
