I qualified as a Humanistic Counsellor in England in 1999  and subsequently had a private practice specialising in Person Centred and Gestalt Therapy. In 2002 I became qualified to teach adults and I taught NCFE 3702, 3703 and Diploma at South Downs College in England. 

I worked for a number of years, in a voluntary capacity, as a telephone counsellor for Action for M.E. and counsellor for the Dorset Drugs and Alcohol Service.
