JULIETTE LOWE

My name is Juliette Lowe. I'm an English-speaking counsellor, psychotherapist and life coach. I live
between Lamalou les Bains and Colombière.

This picture was taken last year in Dharamsala, India, when I visited a Tibetan refugee girl I sponsor. These past few years, whatever I do, Tibetans and their teachings are never far from my heart and my mind.

I came to France two years ago, and love being here and working with English-speaking clients.

I have a long history of work in 'mental health' settings of all kinds - first as an occupational therapist, then as a drama therapist, ultimately growing towards 'talking therapy' and coaching. After four years training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Sheffield University and in-house training in cognitive behavioural psychotherapy, I worked as a counsellor in both General Practice and private practice. I was also a visiting tutor for interpersonal skills training workshops at the Sheffield University Vocational Training Scheme (VTS), for future GP's.

I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and abide by their code of ethics. I have the London Coaching Academy Advanced Diploma in Life Coaching and abide by their code of ethics.

After more than 20 years of working with a full range of issues and difficulties I continue to feel a deep commitment, energy, and sense of wonder at people's creativity and courage and their ability to survive and thrive. I feel honoured to be part of that process. I love my work.

I offer a free 1 to 1½ hour introductory meeting. I work with clients face-to-face, on the phone, or using internet SKYPE (which can be downloaded free), so I'm available to work with people in France or any other country. My fees for counselling, psychotherapy and life coaching are 40€ per hour.
