I have been living and working as a therapist in central Toulouse since 2001. I have French nationality and am bilingual in French and English, but lived in Britain for most of my life before settling back in France.  I trained in London and worked as a therapist in Cambridge. During this period I had a small private practice and also worked as an honorary individual and couple therapist at Addenbrooke’s hospital, as well as for a voluntary organisation helping women survivors of sexual abuse. In addition, I created and ran a counselling service within LIFECRAFT, a  self-help mental health charity, also based in Cambridge. Since coming to Toulouse,I have been working mainly in private practice, but also for a voluntary organisation (l’Association des Soins Palliatifs), running support groups for volunteers who work with the terminally ill.  I have also completed further training in Systemic Family Therapy, and am in regular touch with French therapists. This provides me with a network of colleagues to whom I can refer people in cases of special need, as well as enabling me to remain lively and creative in my approach.
